Objective

• Disassemble the tortured fiddlesticks to find the play on words and then reassemble them again.

Rules

• My recommendation to play, pull one stick out, ponder it, and replace it in the bundle before removing another . Rinse and repeat to always keep it intack.

• Or, carefully disassemble the bundle of twisted fiddlesticks from the ring binders.

• Admire/consider/review/ponder the simple play of words.

• And then reassemble them back into their bundled positions for another player to enjoy.

History

• The original Twisted Sisters Tangle of Wisted Twords puzzle was a 2025 design contest entry I submitted at work. It did not win, but it sure was fun to make.

• Maybe there is the dark side to this witch doctor. Legend has it, he tortures misfit fiddlesticks with waterboarding, then puts them in an iron maiden rack twist, and then hangs them out to dry in the blistering Arizona Sun until they give up their secrets. Many fiddlesticks don’t survive this punishing treatment.

• This game is found on the Code Breaker Academy, and Head Game Shelves.

• Curiosity kills the cat. If you take it apart, you are obligated to put it back together.

• Don’t feed this puzzle, unless you are willing to commit to reassembling them. Otherwise, it’s best to just let them be.

• Serious/Business = Monkey/Playtime is one example, Morning/Star = Rock/Wood is another. I have an assortment of twisted fiddlesticks, or I can custom make to your favorite play on words, or as a personalized message for a gift. i.e. Happy/John = Martha/Anniversary
